What is F1X?

F1X Dashboard is a free Chrome extension that replaces your new tab page with a customizable motorsport dashboard. It brings together standings, race calendars, lap charts, and headlines — everything a racing fan wants at a glance, without switching between apps or websites.

Who builds it?

F1X is designed and developed by Aravind Unnikrishnan, an independent developer and motorsport fan. It started as a personal side project to have a better new-tab experience during race weekends and grew into a polished extension available on the Chrome Web Store.

How does it work?

The extension pulls data from publicly available motorsport APIs — including OpenF1 and Jolpica — and presents it through draggable, themeable widgets. Your preferences and layout are stored locally in your browser; nothing is uploaded to external servers.
